As our president İlker Cömert was appointed in the year of 2001, The Scouts Head Office of Muğla, had completed the foundation operations and carried out many important organizations in the scouts history of Turkey.

With holding some important events like meetings of province represantitives, sign course for three woods, the award night of The Federation of Scouting, courses for tribe leaders, seminars for other leaders, meetings of subassemblies, Scouts of  Muğla had also organized and carried out in the year of 2004 “Anatolian International Scouts Camp” participating 3000 leaders and scouts, even had traditionalized that and had carried the following “Anatolian International Scouts Camp” with participating 2000 leaders and scouts in 2006 ,which was for the first time in the scouting history of Turkey.

The scouting was activitated by appointing chiefs for the represantitive offices of Fethiye, Milas, Marmaris, Bodrum, Yatağan, Dalaman which are 7 of the 11 counties of the province of Muğla . Our province has 54 licensed leaders and 609 licensed scouts. With mentioning that one of them is an expertise club, our 7 clubs are carrying out scouting activities in communication with the head office.

The  Scouts Head Office of Muğla, under instructions of The Federation of Scouting, are carrying out new works rapidly with following the principles and revolutions of Atatürk and adopting in principle the prospective of the World Scouting Organization contemporarily.

Our head office has a monthly 12 paged newspaper which is delivered in whole Turkey, North Cyprus Turkish Republic and England.
